About Lantern River
Lantern River is a legendary page theme for Team Up. A dark river on the first night of the year, carrying a thousand paper lanterns downstream and up into the sky. It is a one-time $14.99 unlock that then applies across every league you play in.
Lantern River is a page theme — a full-page treatment for your public Team Up profile. Rather than styling a single row, a page theme restyles the whole page: the backdrop, accent colors, typography, and ambient motion all change together to give your profile one cohesive identity. Lantern River applies across every league you belong to, so anyone who visits your profile sees the same signature look.
Design & animation
Lantern River works from a palette of gold, black and cream, applied across the backdrop, accents, and text. Headings are set in Shippori Mincho for a distinct display voice. Ambient embers in gold drift across the page for subtle, always-on motion. It even swaps in a matching custom cursor set while you are on the page. The backdrop is a seamless cinemagraph loop, so the scene stays alive without ever jumping.
Legendary is the top tier — reserved for the most elaborate, fully-animated items, finished with a gold glow that stands out from every other row on the board.
